The NHS ‘Big Tea’ campaign is an appeal for communities to join a national outpouring of thanks on 5th July – the birthday of the NHS.
In 2021/22 we supported over £400k worth of improvement projects supporting patients and families, staff and researchers at the Trust.
This year we want to do even more! By getting involved in the NHS Big Tea campaign, you can help us do exactly that.
This July, you can host your own NHS Big Tea party. Join in as thousands of events are held and millions of tea bags squeezed in homes, schools and offices up and down the country and play your part in the NHS Big Tea.
When and where you host your tea party is up to you. Whether that’s with your friends, family or colleagues; you can shape your tea party in any way that suits you.
Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll send you over our fundraiser pack, complete with t-shirts, bunting kits and poster packs!

Wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at the ROH with our patients and families of those patients or with our staff and colleagues.
ROH Charity’s role is to find ways to support and enhance patient experience to enable NHS funds to be used on the essential services our public needs. We support the ‘added extras’ that make our patients stay with us that little bit more bearable, because let’s face it… no-one enjoys visiting hospital.
By getting involved in this year’s competition, you can directly impact our patients in a positive way.
We have challenged staff at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital to create a wellbeing initiatives that enhance the experience of patients within the hospital.
Teams work together to create a poster with their idea to display in the form of a poster for the public, patients and staff to vote for their favourite. Those who submit their idea will be in with the chance of winning up to £5k worth of support from ROH Charity.
Take part in our poster competition launching on the 11th May 2022.
More details to be announced soon.
