It’s a very important space and one which has a huge impact on the care that surgeons, doctors and nurses offer to local people. It’s an engine room of improvement and innovation.
We’re fundraising to support the redevelopment of our Knowledge Hub building and we want to give local people and businesses the opportunity to help us do something incredible!
Please note, if we bypass our fundraising target for this appeal by the time your funds are received, your funds will be used for other patient experience improvement projects within the hospital. You will be notified if this is the case by a member of our fundraising team. Your gift will always be used to benefit the work of The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.
The new and improved Max Harrison Lecture Theatre along with the Knowledge Hub, was unveiled in a ‘virtual ceremony’ live on Facebook, where speakers included Chief Executive Jo Williams, alongside consultants and those involved in clinical education.
Thanks to your generous donations we have been able to push this project to be completed sooner than expected. A huge thank you goes out to those who have generously donated through our Knowledge Hub Redevelopment Appeal, we could not have done it without them.
You can still sponsor a chair in the Lecture Theatre in order to continue to support the healthcare professionals of our future. By donating your plaque will take pride of place in the new space for the professionals of our future to see.
