Commemorative Giving
There are many ways to remember someone special. Whether you’re celebrating a loved one who worked at or was cared for by The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, commemorative giving is a meaningful way to pay tribute while helping others in need.
Celebrate Their Life, Continue Their Legacy
Your support in memory of someone special helps us continue delivering outstanding care, advance medical research, and enhance the experience of patients and families for years to come.
Thank you for thinking of us at such a meaningful time. Your support helps us provide comfort, care, and life-changing services for patients and families at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.

Set up an in-memory fundraising page
Celebrate a loved one’s life by setting up a dedicated tribute page through JustGiving. This space can be used to:
-
Mark special anniversaries or birthdays
-
Share their story and cherished memories
-
Invite friends and family to leave messages or make donations in their honour
Whether it’s a one-off gesture or something you return to each year, an in-memory page is a lasting way to keep their memory alive while supporting a cause they cared about.

Make a one-off donation
A one-time donation in memory of someone dear can make a powerful impact.
You can choose to:
-
Donate to our general fund, helping us respond where the need is greatest
-
Support a specific department, appeal, or piece of equipment that was important to them

Leave a Lasting Tribute at the Hospital
Honour your loved one in a visible and lasting way by sponsoring something meaningful within the hospital. Options include but are not limited to:
-
Sponsor a wheelchair – Helping patients stay mobile and independent
-
Sponsor a seat in our Max Harrison Lecture Theatre – Supporting education and innovation in orthopaedics
These tributes not only commemorate a life but also serve as symbols of support and care for future generations.

Funeral Collections
Honour a Life. Support a Cause They Loved.
Creating a funeral collection is a powerful way to celebrate the life of someone special.
By setting up an online funeral notice, you can invite friends and family to come together in memory of your loved one—whether they can attend the service or not. The notice also provides a space to share photos, memories of remembrance.
Setting up a notice is simple and requires no technical skills—just the date and time of the funeral. Additional details such as the location, donation information, or wake arrangements can be added now or updated later.
