Halloween Bake Sale Raises over £200 for ROC’s General Appeal
Staff, patients and visitors got into the Halloween spirit this week as ROC hosted a spooktacular Halloween Bake Sale at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital (ROH), raising an incredible £202.50 for ROC’s General Appeal.
The event brought together a fantastic selection of homemade treats, generously donated by staff members, volunteers and local supporters. We were also delighted to receive support from Becketts Farm, whose contribution helped make the day a sweet success.
A special thank you goes to our dedicated volunteer Dave, who generously gave his time to help run the event. From setting up and welcoming visitors to keeping the bake sale running smoothly throughout the day, Dave’s support played a huge part in the event’s success.
We would also like to thank every member of staff, volunteer and supporter who donated baked goods, purchased treats or helped spread the word. Your generosity and enthusiasm helped create a fantastic atmosphere and raised vital funds for the hospital.
This Halloween Bake Sale marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for ROC as we take over the Hub space at the front of the hospital. The Hub will become a dedicated home for all things charitable, providing opportunities for fundraising, volunteering, events and engagement with our hospital community.
This is just the first of many exciting events planned for the space, and we can’t wait to welcome you back soon for more fundraising activities, awareness days and community events in support of The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.
Thank you for helping us make a difference, one slice at a time. 🎃🍰💙
