This festive season, the Royal Orthopaedic Charity (ROC) is thrilled to have the generous support of both LullaBaby and Baylis & Harding for this year’s Christmas Appeal, helping us bring comfort and joy to patients of all ages throughout December.
Together, they are supporting ROC’s Christmas Gift Projects, ensuring that children, young people and adult inpatients at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital (ROH) receive thoughtful gifts during what can be an emotional and challenging time to be in hospital.
The hospital’s Children and Young People’s Outpatients Department cares for patients aged 0–16 who are living with orthopaedic conditions requiring temporary or lifelong care. Thanks to the generosity of LullaBaby, each young person visiting the department this December will receive a specially selected gift to brighten their hospital experience and bring some festive cheer.
LullaBaby shared:
“At LullaBaby, we believe every child deserves moments of joy, comfort, and care, especially during the festive season. That’s why we’re so happy to support the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital’s Christmas Gift Project, which helps bring smiles to the children visiting the Outpatients Department over Christmas.
Hospitals can feel daunting for little ones, particularly at a time of year that’s meant to be magical. This wonderful initiative ensures that each child receives a thoughtful gift during their visit, a small gesture that can make a big difference in brightening their day and easing any worries.
As a company passionate about supporting children and families, we’re honoured to play a part in spreading a bit of Christmas cheer.”
We are also proud to recognise Baylis & Harding, who have once again sponsored the gifts for adult inpatients staying at ROH over Christmas week. As a long-standing supporter of this annual appeal, their continued generosity ensures that adults receiving care during the festive period also feel valued, remembered and supported — a gesture that brings warmth and comfort when it’s needed most.
All at ROC and ROH are incredibly grateful to both LullaBaby and Baylis & Harding for helping make the season brighter for patients and their families. Their kind support demonstrates how small acts of generosity can create meaningful, lasting impact.
Thanks to partners like these, we can continue to bring smiles, comfort and festive joy to those receiving care throughout the holiday period.
