Christmas Market Achieves Highest Ever Fundraising Total

The Royal Orthopaedic Charity is delighted to share the success of this year’s Christmas Market, which brought festive spirit, community energy, and incredible generosity right into the heart of the hospital. Thanks to the fantastic support of our traders, volunteers, staff, and visitors, the market raised over £700 for ROC’s Christmas Appeal — helping us move closer to transforming five cancer ward side rooms into brighter, more comforting spaces for patients.

This year’s market was our biggest yet, filled with delicious food, beautifully crafted gifts, and festive treats for every taste. We were thrilled to welcome a wonderful mix of local traders whose stalls brought colour, kindness, and creativity to the day.

Making a Difference Together

The funds raised will go directly towards ROC’s Christmas Appeal — supporting the renovation of side rooms in the oncology ward. These improvements will help create more comfortable, calming spaces for patients undergoing treatment, offering dignity and comfort during some of their most challenging moments.
