Young Fundraisers raise £180 for Children & Young People’s services!
This Christmas Laura, a long-term patient at ROH, decided to help give back to the hospitals which have helped her over the years. With the help of her Mum & family she managed to raise £180.00 for children and young people’s services at ROH which is an amazing fundraising achievement.
Fiona – Mum “We decided to raise money on behalf of two hospitals, Birmingham Children’s and ROH (children’s ward) as my eldest daughter, Laura was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma in 2008 and has had a number of operations at the two hospitals.
We are farmers and hire out part of one of our sheds to a man who sells Christmas trees and so we decided to set up a stall selling Christmas table decorations, cards, cones and to raffle a bottle of champagne. The girls did this over a very cold weekend just before Christmas ( with a bit of help from me)”
We would like to thank Laura, Fiona and all her family for braving the cold this Christmas to raise money for the ROH!
